Welcome to my website. It contains images of astronomical targets captured with a digital camera, specialist astronomical CCD/CMOS camera and good old film.

I'm particularly interested in observing comets. The comet section below contains most of my images to date.

Older images were taken by me either from my light polluted back garden observatory in Leigh on sea, Essex, UK or darker more remote UK locations. More recent images are taken from my remote observatory in Fregenal de la Sierra, Spain operated from home via the internet.

My home observatory is a registered International Astronomical Union observatory  with the MPC designation "Eastwood Observatory K02". My remote observatory has the designation "PGC Fregenal de la Sierra Z10".
